Smiley Battery

Visual / Tactile Distinction
The plus terminal shows + in shape, and the minus side is - in shape. You can see it to recognize the ± ends. The plus side of battery is convex, and the minus side is concave. When a battery holder is designed for this battery, there is no risk of improper insertion of a battery anymore because of its obvious shape. With the simple but very clear concepts above, this sensational battery makes it easy to recognize the correct side for the plus and minus terminals Regardless whether you can see or not, whether you have glasses or even reading glasses-absolutely EVERYONE can set the battery correctly without thinking.

We would like to dedicate our design to great designers, Mr. Fukazawa Naoto. Mr. James Dyson. and Mr. Victor Papanek. They have the same viewpoint in design. Mr.Papanek passed away in 1998. He had advocated the design process for User's happiness for over 40 years. We were deeply inspired by his passion to design at his lecture in Japan in 1989. Since then, his principles underlie our design and always remind us of the importance of pure happiness and love in design.

No words needed for you to start using it, right? This is simple, but it's filled with what is needed by people. We created this to bring a happy smile to your faces.

We received this honored GOLD award not only by us as designers but also with all who supported our design project.

Custom Keyboard

It allows users to customize the keyboards Users can organize the keyboard layout by their own choice for their needs.The keyboard is all covered by a fabric. The keys are actually pins. Guess what you can do? It allows users to put a key anywhere in any layout on the keyboard. There are several sizes for keys. Users can pick a perfect size for their hands and fingers.Users will be able to create original keys by writhing function names on keytops. (e.g. alphabets, key names and icons) Users also can pin up a clip, a memo with today's lunch plan and a musical ticket for a weekend ! We entried the I.D.Annual Review and the iF product design award. We could not take a prize,but got his smile.

Fukubella®

　ふくべらは全くもって仕事をしているように見えない。
日がな一日壁に寄り掛かっているだけで、端から見るといつも休憩をしているようである。へらといってもバターを伸ばしたり目玉焼きをひっくり返したりといったへら属が得意な仕事ができるわけでもない。それなら何故ふくべらなどという名前なのかと言えば、役目は服を掛けておくことなのに、風貌はどこから見てもへらにしか見えないので、いつの間にかそう呼ばれるようになったのである。
　そんなふくべらも何かと家人に重宝がられてはいるのだ。
玄関で脱いだ外套を掛けるのに実に具合が宜しい。座敷へ客のあるときは長押にハンガーではどうにも具合が悪いので、ちょいと奥まで連れて行かれる。最近では毎年坊やの背丈を脇に刻まれるなど、全くへららしくない使われ方までされて、ふくべらはすっかりこの家の一員なのである。
　今日はまだ出番が無いと見えて壁に寄り掛かったまま、またのんびり昼寝をしている
